Hello, i have my desktop pc connected to my home projector via a s-video connection but its displaying the image as black and white. I've checked the drivers and messed with the video card settings still nothing different. Any idea whats the problem?

The S-video connector or cable is most likely bad. It sounds like you are only getting a chrominance signal from pin 4 (C). Which makes a black and white image on the TV screen. The luminance signal is transmitted via pin 3 (Y) as you are facing the end of the S-video cable.
