Sharing folders (Home and Business Networking Support)
I have a small domain running with XP work stations.
On one of the XP machines I have shared a folder. Then under permissions I have removed Everyone, and added the only users I want to see this folder.
This works well if they are at there PC. If they go to a different PC and try to access it, they just get access denied.
Is there a way that it will ask for a username and password instead of a simple access denied?

Add authenticated users to the permissions. Those logged into a machine that doesn't have access will get a username & password prompt.
